Mother’s Day was supposed to be wholesome. Oops.

He’s older. Off limits. And lives just one house away.

I told myself I was home to cook brunch for Mother’s Day.

I told myself I was just borrowing sugar.

I lie to myself a lot. It’s fine.

Now I’m at his doorstep in a dress I shouldn’t have worn, asking for something I definitely didn’t need…

And somehow, I ended up on his counter, under his hands, and way too full of bad decisions.
