July 19, 2026

We’ve had too much rain in these western North Carolina mountains the past few weeks. It’s caused flooding and shaken already damaged infrastructure that was impacted by Hurricane Helene. Along with high temps, it’s created a lot of humidity and I don’t do well with high humidity. Yuck.

Bear, my 13 year old little diva guy, is happy to just stay in his favorite recliner and enjoy the cooler house temps. This is him, waiting patiently for me to share my popcorn.

Writing is happening, albeit slowly. Progress on Gone on Arrival and on Rowan happened this week and I love that I’m finally feeling the flow of words once more. It’s not as steady and consistent as it used to be, but any flow is progress at this point.

I’m also working with Lizzie Dunlap of Pixie Covers to update the covers for the Supernatural Intelligence Network series. I’ll drop them here as they come. I’m excited for this update and hope you all like them as much as I do!

Until next week…

If you’re interested in buying books directly from author websites, check out Bear Mountain Books. Some good listings in here.

My friend, Rick Sutherland, has a free novella prequel to his Albion Saga series. Book one is out and book two is almost ready to publish (I can’t wait!). Grab Weight of Mercy for free and step into the world of intrigue, romance, and a version of King Arthur I actually like.
