Step 1 · Add your books

Get your catalog in — three easy ways.

However big your backlist, there’s a fast path in. Pick whichever fits.

The browser extension

Click the StoryKeepr extension on any Amazon or retailer page and it pulls in the cover, blurb, price, and buy links — no copy-paste, no tabs.

ASIN lookup

Have an ASIN? Paste it and StoryKeepr auto-fills the title, cover, description, and price straight from Amazon in a second.

CSV import

Moving a big backlist? Import up to 1,000 books from a spreadsheet in one pass — covers and all.

… and bring everything else with you

Your links, your list, your content — imported, not re-typed.

  1. 2

Bring the universal links you already built

Already have Books2Read or StoryOrigin links? Paste one in and StoryKeepr pulls in every store link automatically — Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Barnes & Noble and the rest. No re-entering a thing.

  2. 3

Connect your newsletter in a click

Link Mailchimp, MailerLite, Kit, Beehiiv, and more. Your signup pages and reader magnets send new subscribers straight to the list you already use — keep the email service you love.

  3. 4

Turn past newsletters into blog posts

Paste a newsletter you already sent and StoryKeepr imports it as a post on your author blog. Instant content — and fresh SEO — from work you did months ago.

  4. 5

    Publish your author website

Switch on your author page, point your custom domain, and you have a professional author website — no website builder, no developer, no monthly Squarespace bill.

Then get discovered

Put your books in front of new readers.

Once your catalog’s in, StoryKeepr helps readers — and other authors — find you.

List your deals publicly

Mark a sale as public and it lands in the Deals & Sales directory readers actively browse — and gets featured in our free biweekly deals newsletter and social posts.

Swap newsletters with authors like you

Find authors in your genre and set up newsletter swaps — you feature their book to your list, they feature yours. Cross-promotion, built in.

Join group promotions

Team up on multi-author group promos to reach thousands of new readers in your genre at once — and build your reputation as you go.

Questions about switching

Getting started, answered.

Do I have to re-enter everything by hand?
No — there are quick ways to add books instead of typing. Bulk-import your catalog from a spreadsheet (CSV), paste an ASIN to auto-fill a book’s details from Amazon, or add books one-click with the browser extension. And as you add a book, you can paste your existing Books2Read or StoryOrigin link to fill in all of its store links at once — no re-typing Amazon, Apple, Kobo, and the rest.
Can I bring a big backlist?
Yes. On a paid plan (unlimited books) the CSV import brings in up to 1,000 titles in one pass, covers and all. The free Starter plan is capped at 50 books, so a large backlist will need a paid plan — see pricing for the limits on each plan.
Can I keep my current mailing list?
Absolutely. StoryKeepr connects to Mailchimp, MailerLite, Kit, Beehiiv and more — it works with the email service you already use, it doesn’t replace it.
Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. There’s no code and no website builder. If you can fill in a form, you can set up your author page and point your own custom domain.
Is my data locked in?
Never. Your catalog is always yours — export everything whenever you like, and you can delete your account and all of its data at any time from your settings.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. The free Starter plan has no time limit and no credit card — you can organize your catalog, get book and audiobook pages, track promotions, and create universal book links. A few things — like your hosted author website with a custom domain, reader magnets, and the newsletter and ARC tools — are on the paid plans. See the pricing page for exactly what’s included in each.

No lock-in, ever. Import in minutes, export your whole catalog anytime — your data is always yours.
